March 25th: Transition to Adult Life and what the Mental Capacity Act means for young people with SEND - a seminar to help parents carers and professionals understand the issues

Who makes decisions for young people with SEND when they reach adulthood? What rights to parents have to decide on future pathways?

This is the latest seminar in a subsidised Transition to Adult Life series in central London, on March 5th 2020.  

TRANSITION TO ADULT LIFE AND THE MENTAL CAPACITY ACT, including welfare and financial deputyship and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS), and Power of Attorney, and also covering Continuing Health Care Assessments from age 18 and whether your son or daughter is likely to qualify for NHS funding.  Hear a top lawyer and expert speakers take you through the issues.
