Knit Stitch and Make

Knit Stitch and Make is a free creative drop-in group based in Westcombe Park that also visits other locations around the borough. Relax, chat and get busy with colouring, crafting or knitting. Bring your own project, perhaps some knitting or mending that's been sat in the back of the cupboard for a while or use our colourful array of free craft materials!

The group is led by qualified art therapist Julie Watson. We provide free hot drinks and tasty treats. If you aren't feeling confident you can sit quietly and watch or make something, there's no pressure to talk until you feel ready.

We welcome all parents and carers, foster carers and grandparents.  The session lasts from 1.5 to 2 hours depending on location. If you can't stay for the full session don't worry, come for as long as you can as we'd love to meet you!

Knit Stitch and Make has a regular monthly date at the Scullery Cafe, Vanburgh Park, London SE3 7JQ at runs from 10 am until 12 noon. The cafe is very accessible by bus: you can take the 54, 53, 380, 202 or 108 to Blackheath Standard roundabout. Parking is on-street in this residential area. This term we will be meeting on 26 May.

We also visit schools, check our diary for dates for details or ask your SENCO if you'd like us to visit.

Charlton Park Academy on 22 May at 10am
Rockliffe Manor Primary School on 7 June at 10am
