Greenwich Parent Voice

Events

We hold free events for parents in schools, cafes, at our creative drop-in Knit Stitch and Make and in local green spaces such as Greenwich Park. These are very much social occasions and designed to get you out of the house, talking to others who understand and doing something enjoyable and, if possible, healthy!

Free to come along

All our events are free of charge. We always make sure that hot and soft drinks are provided and if appropriate, cakes and snacks. At our all day events we always provide a tasty light lunch, and again this is free of charge.

Every so often we hold major information events. These are usually focused on the legal rights of children with disabilities and special needs. We hold them during the school day at central venues on the borough and sometimes in the evening so working parents can come along. Past speakers have included Brian Lamb OBE who explained the SEND reforms to parents, and recently Steve Broach, a top barrister in UK Disability Law.
